Gonna miss this drama when it ends next week... Hehe no matter what happens in the finale it will still be my fav drama of 2012 (along with The Chaser and Hitori Shizuka maybe...)

Sasa order# 2

I was going to make a Gmarket order last month but missed the It's Skin sale while waiting for my new credit card to arrive. Long story short, I'm probably the last person to find out that Chase cards (in Canada) don't charge foreign currency transaction fees...

Myojo spicy noodles

I think these are the spiciest noodles that I've ever tried...

The first bite was extremely spicy but it got milder as it was cooling down. I could even taste the sweetness in the broth. A Must-try for people that get a kick out of eating spicy foods.

Haven't had much luck with customs lately so I figured I might as well try Sasa.com... (It's been raining everyday so I couldn't get any decent lighting on these pictures.)

Gmarket Multi-payment + 2% Shipping fee Increase

[2012.12/18] Update - Interesting experience with the new combine payment feature...

I recently paid for an order with Gcash + Paypal using this feature. However, when one of the items was cancelled by the seller, Gmarket actually refunded me in Gcash instead of USD through PayPal.


[2012/11/02] Update - Noooooooooooooooooooooo Shipping fee will increase by 2% starting November 12th.

It's already so expensive to begin with... Anyway, it'll only be $1-2 more (my orders are normally between 6-10 kg.)

Order placed on July 2nd, total weight 8.15 Kg, received on July 10th.

;17 Unfortunately I got dinged by customs and had to pay around $40Cdn in duties+tax+handling fee. It was probably my mistake too --  I put all the skincare in one order and cell phone accessories + DVD in the other (for combine shipping), but all four declaration boxes on the shipping label were declared as skincare items. Anyway, it could have been worse if they had opened my box...

Trust me, I've been trying very hard to stay away from Gmarket but it's impossible. Whenever I read about these great hauls from other bloggers I feel the urge to stock up again XD

And Father's Day is on this Sunday(6/17)...which means I have less than 48 hours to find something...anything...

No picture of the box this time. I missed the delivery (again) so it had to be picked up at the post office. Gmarket used one gigantic box (typical Gmarket, I know) that was too big to fit into my car, so I had to take it apart in the parking lot....and in the rain.

But other than that, everything is great :D
