Gmarket Haul #13

Yay! Another haul.

[2012/11/12] Updated short review of Su:m37

Molang S3 case
Item# 291242745
Also ordered an earphone pin. The "ice-cream" on the pin is so pointy that I had to shave it down with a nail filer.

Molang Note case
Item# 275094718
Different seller than the above. This one doesn't come with a screen protector (it wouldn't fit anyway since my Note doesn't have a button) but I'm sure other sellers would include one.

Pleomax Car Charger
Item# 281076078

Retractable phone cable
Item# 281075691

Post-it
Item# 257911982
Not for me. My writing is not legible.

Su:m37 Air Rising Moist Cushion Foundation in 02
Item# 292164338
Loving this so far. Not much coverage but enough to hide pores, and my face doesn't get as oily as it does with the Iope cushion. Very convenient since it takes way less time to apply than BB creams and foundations (or maybe I'm just slow.) However I don't think this will last as long as the Iope one. The sponge has already dried out quite a bit since I started using it a few weeks ago.

Su:m37 Cleansing Cream and Foam set
Item# 294839039
Seems like a decent deal for ₩24,300.. I haven't tried any cleansers from Su:m37 before so hopefully this will work out. Really looking forward to using a pump bottle so I can keep my eyes closed for a few more minutes in the morning...because every minute (of sleep) counts!

[2012/11/12] Just started using the Essential Cleansing Foam last weekend (I'm actually trying the tube version from the A-time essence gift set, but it should be the same as this pump bottle.) It's a clear gel that lathers up into foam. I find it a bit drying when compared to the Hanyul and Sooryehan cleansing foams that I've used previously. And the foam also doesn't quite have the richness of the other two. Scent-wise, I'm smelling detergent/hand soap for some reason... I think I will have to order the Hanyul cleanser next time and save this for the summer.

Su:m37 Waterfull Gel Cream set
Item# 265819444
First time trying this line - The fragrance is a little too strong but I still like this gel cream better than the Clinique moisture surge. It's enough to keep my face moisturized for a few hours without having to re-apply or topping it off with a richer cream.

It's Skin Prestige Cream d'escargot
Item# 204501040
Good stuff. This one isn't for me but I'm currently using the ginseng version which has helped with my random rashes (see short review haul# 10.) It came with two Power 10 samples, a pack of cleansing cloths and a macaroon lip balm.

Etude House Moistfull White Eye roll-on
Item# 276538251
I had wanted to get the It's Skin eye roller but it wasn't available back when I placed this order... Looks like every brand has something like this these days.

Etude House Pearl BB Sun pact
Item# 262412385
Lovely packaging but I wished there was a separate tray for the puff...

Etude House Brow Pencil
Item# 184833184

Just got one a few months back but the lead somehow fell out. While waiting for this replacement, I realized I have lost the ability to draw a proper brow with brow powder...
;03

Pads
Item# 256895128

Doori Shampoo
Item# 153445153
Bought this for my parents. If it's good then I'll switch to this one when I'm eventually done with LG ReEn.

Mise En Scene Easy and Speedy Foam Hair Color
Item# 24940049

Still haven't tried the 3N from a few hauls ago but my mom liked it... Ordering a lighter color this time, along with a hair pack and conditioner. The Damage Care hair pack is a thicker than the Etude House version (see haul# 11) and has a lighter scent as well. My wavy hair is pretty out of control these days so I'm letting it air-dry with the hair pack instead of rinsing it out.

Infinite Second Invasion : 1st Concert Live In Seoul
Item# 282745143
Sub-par video quality but the concert was pretty entertaining.

Update: lol...Can't believe they are releasing the encore concert DVD on 12/26.  Anyway I'll be skipping this.

  1. Just curious, but have any of the items that you ordered were returned to sellers without your request.  It happened on the last order, but I didn't really want the item, so I let it go.  It's happening again on this current order.  I saw that it was in the warehouse, and next thing I know I got the message, that it was returned to seller and I got my refund.  I am somewhat furious as of what happenned.  I tried to contact gmarket, but no response yet.

  5. Thank you.  Gmarket finally responded.  Apparently, the seller cancelled the schedule delivery because they ran out of stock. =(

  7. Thanks! Just added the shipping fee increase to another post. Btw, have you tried contacting the seller to see why the item was returned?

  9. There was an official statement said due to an increase in worldwide shipping, so expect delay, and they will raise the shipping fee up by 2%.

  11. No I haven't had any experience like that before. I did read in a forum that someone had an issue with an Etude House hair spray. Apparently EMS said it's flammable so it had to be removed from the order even though the item was eligible for world wide shipping. It seems like quite a few people in the same thread have been experiencing delays/issues with their orders recently.

  13. wow The Greed of Men was my fav drama in the 90's! haha those were the days when TVB dramas still comes in VHS. And the Etude eye roller is actually for my sis so I didn't get to try it. She likes it a lot for the cooling effect, but functionality wise, I think it's just a simple moisturizer.

  15. Yeah, watching that drama was just like walking down memory lane for me.  Hehehe, I think all Asian kids loved Guess back then. LOL, since you mention melodrama and crazy people, it reminds me of a HK drama called The Greed of Men.

Anyway, how do you like the Etude's eye roller?

  16. Actually I've never been taxed until the last two packages...not sure if everyone is getting charged now or if i'm on some sort of blacklist :P And yes, I liked Reply 1997 a lot...I'm usually into melodramas with crazy ppl, but this one really brought back memories of the 90's and how much i used to love Guess.....

  18. Do you always get tax on out of country package?  I just ordered some items due to 30% to 50% off from Etude. I wish it's skin sale could be sooner so I can combine shipping.  It seems like you are Infinite's fan.  You should really watch Reply me 1997, if you haven't.

  20. Hehe my wallet was still hurting from paying customs last time so I wanted to wait a bit before getting another haul...too bad they charged me again :P Anyway...i like the coverage of the Hera uv mist, but it's a little too rich for the summer so I've been using the Iope and Su:m37 cushions for the past few months. I'm gonna switch back to Hera when it gets colder; the only problem i have with it is that it seems to make flaky skin even more visible...so I can't really use it when i'm having a bad "skin" day lol

As for the It's Skin roller, they are having a sale from 10/12-14 so it might end up being a pretty decent deal for a pack of 2 (plus the 15% beauty book coupon on top http://event.gmarket.co.kr/html/200907/0007_kjh/1001_coupon.html ). Haha let me know if you're getting one cuz i really want to find out how well they work too... Here's some info from Koreadepart:

: Contains Korea patented red ginseng snail slime filter 21%, red ginseng extract 21%, E.G.F.
: Red ginseng ingredient keeps the skin healthy and vibrant
: Elastic skin care : skin complexion brightening effects
: Premium snail slime filter red ginseng functional eye serum

  24. Hooray, nice haul.  I was waiting for your gmarket haul.  It felt like it has been forever. So which one do you like better hera uv mist or su:m 37 air rising?   Wow it's skin eye roller is a little hefty. I was planning to get Sulwhasoo eye brightener, but now it's skin is tempting.  Do you have any other English info on it's skin eye.  Thanks.
